Pharmacists are highly trusted and accessible health professionals and play a vital role in providing preventive care and advice. In Australia, the role of pharmacists in vaccination has evolved significantly, and continues to evolve. This article will explore the role of pharmacists in travel vaccination, with a focus on hepatitis B.

  • Explain factors which may influence a traveller's health-related risk
  • Describe common pre-travel vaccines that may be recommended to travellers
