Learning outcomes
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Facilitate patient informed decisions regarding vaccination based on enhanced nurse confidence in discussing immunisation with patients
- Outline the AIMS method of communication with regards to vaccination
- Apply the AIMS method of communication to various patient/caregiver groups to improve communication with regards to vaccination
- Create a systematic approach to provide opportunities for eligible patients to be vaccinated
