RACGP ACRRM

This online activity is designed to empower general practitioners (GPs) with communication skills that increase the effectiveness and level of confidence of their conversations with patients regarding vaccination.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Facilitate patient informed decisions regarding vaccination based on enhanced doctor confidence in discussing immunisation with patients
  • Outline the AIMS method of communication with regards to vaccination
  • Apply the AIMS method of communication to various patient/caregiver groups to improve communication with regards to vaccination
  • Create a systematic approach to provide opportunities for eligible patients to be vaccinated
RACGP

This education is a CPD Activity under the RACGP CPD Program for the 2023-25 triennium. It will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

ACRRM

This education is a CPD Activity under the ACRRM PDP Program for the 2023-25 triennium. It will take approximately 1 hour to complete.
